Dynamic Physical Therapy has been helping area folks to get back on their feet at their Marion Main Street location since 2008.

Whether it is recovery from orthopedic surgery, a broken bone or fall, sports injury or balance disorder, the aim of Lisa Nowland, PT, DPT and Kellie Rubin, PTA, is to help patients regain the highest level of mobility and comfort.

Kathy Spoelma, Dynamic’s Marion office assistant, says that Dynamic Physical Therapy began at their Marion location 8 years ago with a small staff and kept office hours only three days a week. The need for physical therapy services in Marion has meant a steady increase in clients and the need for more hours and space.

“It got quite busy and almost crowded, before and after school, when students with sports injuries are here.” Dynamic’s original space was roughly half of what it is now since the recent expansion. “We are so pleased to have the luxury of being able to expand in this space and that Derek Wing, the building’s owner, is able to accommodate us. We are very happy here.” says Spoelma.

Another factor in Dynamic Physical Therapy’s success in Marion is the addition of hometown girl, Lisa Nowland, PT and DPT, Physical Therapist and Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015. Lisa, who graduated with the MHS class of 2008, received her Physical Therapy bachelor’s degree in 2012 from Spring Arbor College in Jackson and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from CMU in 2015. As DPT she sees referred clients, evaluates and plans a course of therapy tailored to each persons’ problem and need and is dedicated to helping each attain that goal.

Of returning to and working in her hometown, Lisa says, “It is nice to help so many people that I know.  It feels good to give back.” She is also the assistant coach for MHS Girls Varsity Softball and Girls Basketball.

Kellie Rubin, Physical Therapist, is the third member of Dynamic’s Marion team. She has been with Dynamic Physical Therapy for 10 years and has been at the Marion office since it opened. Lisa and Kellie are dedicated to helping their clients gain the most from their physical therapy experience. Both are pleased to be able to make a difference in a client’s physical comfort and well being.

A lot has happened at Dynamic Physical Therapy of Marion since they opened on Main Street in Marion in 2008. They have expanded their therapy floor twice, and are open 5 days a week from 8am-5pm, also accommodating early or late client schedules.  Their highly skilled and experienced therapists have helped over 2,100 patients in the Marion area.
To show their appreciation for the Marion community, Dynamic Physical Therapy is hosting an Open House to say thank you and to show off their newly expanded therapy area and equipment. Lisa, Kellie and Kathy hope to see you on Friday, June 3, 2016 between 4:30pm and 6pm. They will be pleased to have all visit their newly expanded therapy area and new equipment. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
