DeGeer Builders of Lake helped move the new Cadillac Veterans Park a step closer to completion last Saturday. Donating their time the Degeer team laid a 40’ x 40’ concrete floor in the parks new storage and maintenance building.

A strong threat of rain didn’t stop volunteers from DeGeer Builders of Lake, MI from pouring the concrete floor in the parks new storage building.

Located on 33 acres of vacant land donated by Cadillac orthodontist Dr. Roger Bandeen, he new facility will be a great place for veterans from all over to come relax, be with other veterans as well family and friends.

In addition to the new storage building the group has worked to finish an access road and planted a selection of trees. Long-range plans call for a chapel, fishing pond, wetlands and more. After countless hours of hard work by volunteers the new storage and maintenance building got a new floor thanks to the efforts of DeGeer Builders and local volunteers.
