McBain golfers place second

The McBain varsity golf team dipped its toes in its first Mid-Michigan Golf Conference match on Monday. The Ramblers finished in a tie for second place out of the four teams at the Firefly Golf Course, with Manton taking first with 198, Clare and McBain tied at 202 and McBain Northern Michigan Christian, who is not in the league struck a 220.

The Ramblers were led by Matt Bellville with a 51, Kaleb Keathely had a 54, Donovan Quist carded a 55 and Logan Eling chipped in at 60.

On Wednesday, April 19 McBain played at Manistee Catholic Central in a dual match. The Ramblers came up short 204-167.
Bellville led the way with a 41, Keathley shot a 51, Eling hit for a 54 and Quist was in with a 60.

McBain heads to Eagle Glen Golf Course in Farwell on Monday for the first league jamboree.
