Homecoming next week for Evart

Evart High School celebrates Homecoming next week with a full slate of activities.

Each day will have a special emphasis.

It’s class color day on Monday. It’s Twin Day on Tuesday with students encouraged to dress like someone else. It will be Wild Side Day on Wednesday with the emphasis on dressing in animal print. For King Kong Day on Thursday, girls are encouraged to wear white and boys wear black. It’s Tribal Pride Day on Friday with emphasis on wearing blue and gold.

The Homecoming Parade is featured on Friday, starting at 4:15 p.m. The lineup starts at 3:45 p.m. at the high school parking lot. The parade begins at 4:15 p.m. at the high school and ends at the Osceola County Fairgrounds.

There will be a tailgate party 5-7 p.m. at the fairgrounds. It will feature face panting, games, Evart merchandise and food.
The Evart High School Marching Band has a pregame show at 6:45 p.m. at the football field. The Homecoming game between Highland Conference rivals Evart and Lake City kicks off at 7 p.m.
