Weekly Report
Feb. 26 to March 4
Feb. 26:  Assist – Officers took a complaint of weapons found in a vehicle that had been repossessed.  
Feb. 26:  Assist – Officers assisted a parent in speaking to a minor on the repercussions of shoplifting.  
Feb. 27:  Assist – Officers assisted Evart Middle School with a minor in possession complaint. 
Feb. 27: Breaking and Entering/Unlawful Driving Away of an Automobile – Officers responded to a motor vehicle theft complaint.  The vehicle was later recovered.
Feb. 28: Assault – Officers responded to a complaint of an assault.  Statements were obtained from all subjects involved and turned over to the prosecutor for review.  
Feb. 28: Property Damage Accident – Officers responded to a property damage accident.  No injuries were reported. 
March 1: Civil – Officers responded to an altercation between two students.  
March 2: Assist – Officers were dispatched to assist with a search for two runaways from a local youth home.  The subjects were located and returned.
March 2: Traffic Control – Officers were dispatched to a complaint of a semi-truck losing metal from its trailer.  The vehicle was located and a citation was issued for an unsecure load.  
March 2: Harassment – Officers were dispatched to a harassment complaint.  Contact was made with both subjects and the issue was resolved. 
March 3: Driving on Suspended – While on patrol, Officers observed a moped driving in the center of the travelling lane and a traffic stop was conducted.  The driver was found to be driving without an operator license or a moped license.

Weekly report
Feb. 19-25
Feb. 20:  Harassment – Officers responded to a
harassment complaint. The offender had left the scene prior to Officers arrival.  
Feb. 21:  Missing Person – Officers were called to investigate a missing person complaint.  The subject was located and returned home.
Feb. 21  Death – Officers were dispatched to conduct a natural death investigation.
Feb. 22:  Identity Theft – Officers were called to investigate an identity theft.  The case remains open at this time. 
Feb. 23:  Found Property – A set of keys were turned in to the Evart Police Department. After posting the report on social media, the owner of the keys was located.
Feb. 24:  Noise Complaint – Officers were called to a noise complaint. The noise subsided prior to Officers arrival.  No ordinance citation was issued.
Feb. 24:  Operating While Intoxicated – Officers were called to a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver.  It was determined that the subject was intoxicated and driving on a suspended license. The subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail and lodged on charges.
