The Osceola County Board of Commissioners, at its Tuesday meeting, approved an agreement with Terminix for the Marion Commission on Aging Building.

“We’ve done that before,” commission chairman Larry Emig said. “We periodically use it once a year to spray for spiders, mice and those type of things. They can get in almost anywhere. All they need is a little opening.”

The commission also approved the request for proposals for the new ambulance chassis and box remount. The proposals would go to companies that can take care of this work, Emig said.

The board approved the agreement with Spectrum for animal control department services and installation and authorize the chairman to sign.

“AT&T can’t service out there,” Emig said. “We’ve gone to Spectrum to acquire better wi-fi system for the internet service we need.”

The commission voted to forgive $5,400 for the Michigan State Housing Development authority homeowner rehab program loan for 148 E Lincoln, Reed City, reducing the amount owed to $34,900.
