The McBain track and field teams had a good showing at the division three state finals in Comstock Park on Saturday. While the boys, who had representatives in five different events didn’t score enough for any team points, the girls racked up enough to finish 27th.

They also had an eighth place finish in the 4×800 relay, as Ashley Schierbeek, Maggie O’Malley, Brianna Eisenga and Klaudia O’Malley ran a time of 9:57.80.

For the boys, Seager Wiltzer was 12th and 15th in the 300 and 110 hurdles, with times of 41.50 and 16.14. Gavin Sieland was 13th in the long jump at 19-08 and Keegan O’Malley was 14th in the 3200 in a time of 9:57.23.
