MCBAIN — Mary Bruno is library assistant at McBain library and points out her facility will be very busy in July.
The summer reading program remains extremely popular. The Fourth of July week was very quiet but then it starts to pick back up next week.

On July 10, the Missaukee Conservation District will have a “We all Need Trees” program at 10:30 a.m. Two days later, the Farm Bureau has a Decorating Rocks program from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Programs on July 17 focus on informative presentations, designed for youngsters, on bats. Another popular attraction is a puppet show at 10:15 a.m. on July 19.

Activity at the library continues to be impressive.

“It just kind of depends,” Bruno said. “Today we have been fairly busy. It’s a little bit slower because we have no classes coming in and out. We have been fairly busy in checking out several movies, several DVDs. Quite a few of those are going out.”
