Halladay confirmed reports the suspect came into the bank around 11:40 a.m. on Friday, and, with a gun, demanded money. Hallday hinted the suspect may have arrived and left on a bike on the White Pine trail. He added deputies are looking into the possibility the suspect left the trail and received a ride.

An amount of money taken has not been provided. Halladay’s office is investigating the robbery with the assistance of the Michigan State Police.

“There isn’t any new information,” Halladay said earlier this week. “We are currently following up on leads and tips that have been gathered.”
Halladay indicated the suspect is believed to be a man, wearing a black coat, with blue jeans and a black mask with a hand gun.

Halladay asks anyone with more information to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at (231) 832-2288.
