Doyle to tell funny tales at library

MARION — Shelley Scott and the Marion Library are inviting the public for a special evening with storyteller Jeff Doyle at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21.

“Jeff tells wild, funny, and poignant tales that deal with the human condition,” the library said in a statement. “His tales not only make us laugh but also challenge us to view life through a different lens.”

“Jeff takes great joy in finding humor in every day life. Jeff specializes in funny stories and scary stories.

​The library points out Doyle is a Michigan native, and president of Northlands Storytelling Network, producer of the Scary Story Festival, and a member of the Lansing and Ann Arbor Storytellers Guilds.
Scott added a new feature at library are downloadable resources including audio books, digital maga
zines and language lessons.
