CADILLAC EARTH DAY COMMITTEE

The Cadillac Earth Day committee will once again urge the citizens of Cadillac and surrounding areas to come together on Sunday, April 28, from 1-4pm, in support of Mother Earth.              Committee Chairperson, Katie Maynard, says of the festivities, ”We had a wonderful event and a wonderful turnout last year, and now that we have seen an improvement in the weather, we hope for a fun and educational  afternoon this year”. The event will once again take place on Lake Street between the city park and the Rotary Pavilion and will enjoy live music from Zak Bunce and Denny Richardson, along with presentations and information from the Michigan Bluebird Society, DEQ, Cadillac Area Land Conservancy, Carl T Johnson Center, Ezra’s Bees, Power Homes Solar, and more. There will also be food truck vendors for lunch, fun crafts  and  seedling trees for the kids, and canvas bags for the adults. In addition, there will be the popular cell phone drop off, so that those used electronics can be disposed of properly.  Check out their website for more information at www.cadillacearthday.com
