April 11, 2019

April 1: Larceny – Officers received a complaint of a stolen debit card. The case remains open at this time.

April 1: Property Damage Accident – Officers were dispatched to investigate a two vehicle PDA. No injuries were reported.  

April 1: Fail to Pay – Officers were called to a local business for a failure to pay complaint. The case remains open at this time. 

April 1: Juvenile Complaint – Officers were dispatched to the Evart Elementary on a report of a disorderly student. A guardian transported the student home. 

April 1: Malicious Destruction of Property – Officers were dispatched to a MDOP complaint. The case remains open at this time.

April 1: Warrant Arrest – While on patrol, Officers made contact with a subject that had an outstanding warrant. The subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail where they were lodged on their warrant. 

April 1: Threats – Officers were advised of a hostile text message against a subject.  The case remains open at this time.

April 1: Assist – Officers made contact with a subject with an outstanding warrant in Mecosta County. The subject was arrested and turned over to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s department to be lodged on their warrant in the Mecosta County Jail.

April 2: Criminal Sexual Conduct – Officers received a CSC complaint. The case remains open at this time.

April 3: Larceny – Officers received a complaint of a stolen bicycle. The case remains open at this time.

April 4: Assist – Officers were dispatched to assist the Michigan State Police with a runaway complaint. The subject was located by another agency in a different town.

April 4: No Security – While on patrol, Officers made contact a subject without insurance and who was driving on an expired license.  The subject was issued an appearance citation and the vehicle was towed. 

April 4: Dog at Large – Officers located a dog at large. The dog was transported to the Osceola County Animal shelter.

April 5: Weapons Complaint – Officers were called to the Evart Elementary school on a report of a student bringing a knife to school. The case has been turned over to CPS for review. 

April 5: Assist – Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a subject who attempted to flee and allude a deputy.  

April 7: Harassment – Officers were called to a harassment complaint.  After reviewing the information provided by the victim, it was determined that no harassment had occurred.  

April 7: Noise Complaint – Officers were called to a complaint of loud music. It was determined that no ordinance had been violated.
