MARION — The village of Marion is continuing its search for a campground manager this summer.

“We will be doing interviews for a manager and want to have a candidate ready for the first meeting in May for the council to hire him,” village president Don Gillmore said, adding the new manager will be ready for Memorial Day weekend.

Spring cleanup day is set for the first Saturday in May on the fourth.

The Village of Marion is still seeking a manager with the 2019 season looming.

“We’ll have big dumpsters available,” Gillmore said. “The dumpsters will be down at the DPW garage and there will be two big ones there. Guys will be there available to help unload. People can come anytime on Saturday. It will be 8 a.m. until about 3 p.m.

“It’s our regular spring cleanup day. People fill them right up. We have two big ones and they fill them right up.”

The event is for village residents, Gillmore noted.

Very interested in your country music festival but we have a dog. Have a caravan. Perhaps we could leave the dog at the caravan park or campgrounds?
