Missaukee Library to feature Adam Miller

A busy schedule of activities is coming up at the Ardis Missaukee District Library.

“We hope to see you all at the Memorial Day Ceremony May 27 at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Park,” library director Laura Marion  said. “Right after the ceremony, Adam Miller will perform WWI Songs on the autoharp and other stringed instruments here. I am getting some great feedback about his amazing past performances.”

Cooking for One is the topic on Tuesday with Denise Gilde of Michigan State University extension, 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28/
George Gruenberg and guests perform piano music at 2 p.m. on May 30. Pumpkin seeds with the Missaukee Conservation District is at 10 a.m. May 31.

SRP reading challenge begins on June 1. Let’s Read Lake City will have volunteer orientations on June 3 and 6, from 10 a.m., both days. Cooking for one MSU Extension class has its last session 4-6 p.m. on June 4. Lego club for first through fifth grades meets at 3:30 p.m. on June 5.

June will feature the start of space activities every Thursday from June 27 to Aug. 1, starting each day at 10 a.m.
