Weekly Report
July 29-Aug. 11
July 30: Verbal Domestic – Officers were called to a domestic dispute which resulted in one subject being trespassed from the property. 
July 31: Felony Arrest – Officers were dispatched to conduct an area check for a subject with a warrant.  The subject was located, arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail where they were lodged on their warrant. 
July 31: Found Property – A safety deposit box key was found and turned over to the Evart Police Department.   
Aug. 1: Transport – Officers conducted a transport from the Newaygo County Jail to the Osceola County Jail on a subject with a warrant. 
Aug. 1: Traffic Complaint – Officers were called to a local business for a suspicious vehicle complaint.  The vehicle was found to have an improper plate and was towed. 
Aug. 4:  Civil Dispute – Officers were dispatched to a civil dispute regarding custody of a minor child. The case remains open at this time.
Aug. 6: Check Well Being – Officers were called to conduct a wellbeing check. The subject was located. The subject did not request any services. 
Aug. 7: Assist – Officers were dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a domestic dispute. 
Aug. 8: Animal at Large – Officers were dispatched to an animal at large complaint. The dog was located and returned to its owner. A verbal warning was given. 
Aug. 8: Private Property Damage Accident – Officers were dispatched to a two-car private property damage accident. No injuries were reported. 
Aug. 8: K9 Track – Officers were called to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a K9 track on a suspect who had fled on foot. The suspect was located by the K9 Officers and apprehended. 
Aug. 9: No Insurance – While on patrol, Officers spotted a vehicle with an expired plate. The vehicle was determined to have no insurance. An appearance ticket was issued and the vehicle was impounded. 
Aug. 10: K9 Track – Officers were called to assist the Michigan State Police with a K9 track of a suicidal subject. The subject was located by the K9 Officers in wooded area. The subject was transported to Spectrum Health Reed City for an evaluation.
