  As I woke up this morning and looked out the window, guess what,  it now looks a whole lot like winter with the beautiful snow all over the trees and bushes……We sure are not having the winters that we once had.  I have gone deer hunting in at least a foot of snow and maybe more.. I would like the  people that should be aware of this Global Warming stop denying it and start working on this world problem….. They had better wake up soon………
Now  for some good recipes for you all…….

GREEK 
GUACAMOLE  
by Patrick & Kristine Roundtree 

2 avocados, diced
1 small red onions, finely chopped
   Minced fresh cilantro to taste
2 Tbsp. Wishbone Italian dressing
   the juice from two fresh limes 
1 4 ounce container of Feta Cheese
2 Roma tomatoes diced  
 
  Mix all ingredients together, chill and serve with pita chips, tortilla chips or toasted baguette bread….
  This is a great Guacamole to serve any time…….

      
Hot Honey
Mustard

 3/4  cup    dry mustard
 2     cups sugar
 4     Tbsp. flour
 4     eggs
 3/4  cup    white vinegar
   dash of salt

  Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
  Cook in a double boiler until like a custard.
  Take off burner and add 1 Tbsp. butter
  When cool pour into a dish and refrigerate

  **Great for dipping with pretzels…..

BAKED  PRETZELS

1 16 ounce bag of mini pretzels place on
    cookie sheet
1/2    bottle of Orville Redenbacher’s Buttery
    Popcorn oil, pour over pretzels
1 package dry ranch dressing pour over top and mix together
    Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes
    *This is super good with the above recipe

TIJUANA  CAVIAR

3 cans (15 oz.) of either black eyed peas
   or black beans or a combination of both
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 2 ounce jar of pimentos
1/2 to 3/4   cup chopped jalapenos (canned or fresh)
1 tsp. cumin
1 1/2    tsp. garlic powder
1/2   tsp. cayenne pepper
1 cup Zesty Italian dressing
1 large bag of Frito scoops ** (this has to be
   Frito’s and not just tortilla chips)

  Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.  Try to let mixture stand overnight or at least a few hours…**Should you try to eat this immediately, you may not be able to stop – it is that goooood……….

 SWEET  POTATO  CHEESE  BALL

2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1/4   cup minced onion
8 oz.    light cream cheese
1/4   cup finely chopped pecans
1 1/2    Tbsp. minced jalapeno pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 
1 tsp. Tabasco hot sauce
1 tsp. Lawry›s seasoned salt

Let cheese come to room temperature.  Boil sweet potatoes in jackets until tender or use canned sweet potatoes.  Mash potatoes and blend in with cream cheese.  Now add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.  Shape into balls and serve with you favorite crackers……

PARTY  REUBEN’S

1 can corn beef
1/2    cup saurkraut, drained
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 Tbsp. mustard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

  Mix together and thicken with mayonnaise.  Spread on party Rye bread and bake on cookie sheet 15 minutes at 350 degrees……**These are really great and will go well at any party or gathering…..
